had a range of products discounted, from what I can recall I’ve never used Olay however for the price (£2.99) I thought I’d give it a go. It was kind of an impulse buy, I needed a new cleanser because every single one I try never lives up to my expectations, much like a lot of things in life ha.
The packaging is very simple and not overly eye catching, the short curvy bottle has the Olay logo on the front with a wave behind it. However i like the simple packaging. The product itself is not too thick however it has a nice feel, it contains aloe vera and cucumber and boy does it smell nice. So the packaging says to massage into the skin and then remove with a damp cotton pad or with warm water. I’ve found that both methods work to remove the product however removing the product with a damp cotton pad is far superior in removing dirt from the skin. I suffer horrendously with clogged pores and dry skin on my nose (especially during this time of the year) so finding a product that can deal with this problem but isn’t too abrasive is generally very difficult. However I was amazed to find that this cleanser has solved this issue, it solved it the first time I used it and I’ve never been more impressed. It removes the excess oil from my skin yet it leaves my skin soft and hydrated. In my opinion it’s the ultimate skincare bargain. Removing dry skin usually is very much a task and my skin becomes very irritated very quickly (a lot of very(S) within there) however this takes all of the hassle out of it which I was very surprised by. So in short if you’re looking for an amazing cleanser for a bargain price then Olay may be for you.
